The Passion Flower 1986 — Fine Art

A curved leaf form runs through the centre of The Passion Flower 1986, with smaller tendrils looping around it on an off white ground. The lines are thin and even, and the space around them is left open.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. Victor Pasmore built his abstract work from plant shapes and simple geometry. The paper is matte, so the pale background stays soft under a lamp and the black lines do not shine.

A metal hanger is fitted to the back, and the print goes up on a nail or screw without a frame. It sits well on the wall beside a kitchen table, where the thin lines stay clear from the doorway and the open space gives the room room to breathe.
