1823 — Fine Art

The title 1823 - 2008 United States points to a long span of American years. Will Barnet worked in a quiet modernist style, with simple shapes and a clear layout. The print shows that steady way of working, with forms placed on a calm ground.

The fine art frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black, and the frame edge gives the image a clean border on the wall. A white frame keeps the setting bright. A black frame gives the shapes a firmer outline.

It hangs on a bedroom wall over the bed. You notice the broad shapes first, then the small shifts in tone when you stand near the footboard.
