19651 — Fine Art

The title 19651 - ∞, Detail - Conceptual Art points to a small section of a counting project. Roman Opalka worked on a long sequence of painted numbers for decades. Here the marks look like figures and strokes arranged in a quiet row on a light ground.

This fine art print uses a matte paper that keeps the greys soft and stops glare under room light. A light frame suits a pale wall, a dark frame works on a deeper wall, and a wood frame sits beside wooden furniture.

It hangs well on a study wall above a desk where you see the numbers and pencil lines from a short distance. The numbers read one by one as you sit at the desk.
