2 Minutes 33 Seconds Red — Fine Art

The title tells you the work runs for a short measured span on a red ground. Billy Apple uses text and time as visible marks on the page. You see a solid red field with the words laid out across it. The layout reads like a count of seconds rather than a scene.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang on the wall. A metal hanger is fitted to the back and goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. The paper holds the red evenly so the words stay clear without shine.

It works on the wall near the kitchen table where the room has a steady warm light. From the table you read the words as a steady count. The red stays plain against the pale tiles behind it.
