8 Part Cube — Fine Art

8 Part Cube by Sol LeWitt divides the picture into eight sections. The lines meet at right angles and the colours sit in flat blocks. Each block holds a different tone, and the tones shift from one section to the next. The setup keeps the eye moving across the grid.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte paper keeps the flat colour areas from shining under a lamp.

In a stairwell with narrow steps, the blocks read as separate planes of colour. From the landing you see the full grid at once, and the right angles stay clear against the steps.
