A Vase with Oranges — Fine Art

A vase with Oranges by Henri Matisse places a ceramic vase near the centre of the sheet with a handful of round fruits beside it. The oranges read as bright spots on a quieter ground. The eye tends to arrive at the fruit and then rest on the vase edge.

This fine art print comes with a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. The frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall and keeps the painted surface from bleeding into the room.

It works above a sideboard where afternoon light lands on the fruit shapes. From across the room the oranges hold the picture together, and up close the brush marks sit quietly beside the vase.
