A Vision — Fine Art

A Vision - 1988 by Ronnie Landfield opens with broad painted bands that shift from warm orange to cool blue across the sheet. The colours sit next to each other without hard lines, so the eye moves slowly along the band.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. Ronnie Landfield worked in colour field painting and abstract painting practice, building the image from flat planes of paint. The metal hanger is already fitted to the back, so you can set it on a nail or screw and it stays level on the wall.

The paper is matte, which keeps the blue tones soft instead of bright under a lamp. It works above the sink in a kitchen, where the orange band catches the morning light and the blue band stays cool near the tiles.
