Abstract Composition in Green and Red

Abstract Composition in Green and Red lays down two broad fields of colour that meet across the picture. Barnett Newman builds the colour from edge to edge with steady, even coverage. The green band holds a cool tone while the red band carries a warmer one.

The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The fine art paper holds the two colour bands without a glossy shine, so the green and red read as flat shapes on the wall.

Over a kitchen sink the green field stays calm under the overhead light while the red band picks up a warmer tone. You see the colour split most clearly from the doorway, with the two bands filling the view.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
