Alvaro Christina — Fine Art

Alvaro Christina sits in the work of Andrew Wyeth with a steady figure and plain ground. The picture uses dry brush and tempera marks, with pale tones and a quiet field behind the subject. You see a person held by the frame, not a story.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The print keeps the dry brush texture and the thin lines of the face and clothes without gloss. The back panel makes the piece ready to hang by itself.

It fits above a desk in a study where the desk lamp gives a warm pool of light. From the chair you notice the outline of the shoulders first, then the small marks around the collar. The plain ground keeps the view calm while you work.
