Annonciation and Moments 383 1994 by Zao Wou-Ki

Annonciation and Moments 383 1994 by Zao Wou-Ki keeps the eye moving through broad colour bands that overlap and fade. A few open spaces let the marks breathe on the sheet.

The painter built his practice around abstract oil work with loose brushwork and soft edges. This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel and arrives assembled when the ready to hang option is used.

The matte paper keeps the grey tones flat and the edges stay clean under a lamp. It works above the desk in a study, with the desk lamp lighting the pale bands from the side.
