Antibes Seen from the Salis Gardens 02 looks out from a garden terrace over a quiet bay. The sea takes a pale blue tone against the warmer sand and buildings on the far shore. Brush marks follow the horizon and leave some sky open above. Claude Monet painted many views of the Mediterranean coast.

This print is a fine art print set in a frame, with a back panel. The frame holds the sheet flat and the back panel fits behind it. You see the colours of the bay without a shine on top of them.

In a dining room the view sits on the wall near the table. From the doorway the bay reads as a broad colour band. At the chair you notice the shorter strokes near the water edge.
