Artists Breath — Fine Art

A sealed metal tin holds the idea of breath inside Artists Breath - 1960. The image shows the tin and its lid, with the surface reading as a blank object rather than a painted scene.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. Empty space sits around the form. Piero Manzoni made objects out of air, paper and sealed containers, and this print keeps that plain, sealed feel.

The white frame gives the tin a clear edge on the wall, so the metal shape stays separate from the wall behind it. You notice the plain lid first on the dining room wall where the light hits the metal and the white frame edge stays clean against the grey tin.
