At Val Saint-Nicolas, near Dieppe — Fine Art

A stretch of shore runs along the lower edge and the sea fills the middle of At Val Saint-Nicolas, near Dieppe. The water turns from blue to grey, and the sky stays thin above the horizon. Claude Monet painted this scene with quick painted strokes, following the outdoor painting practice of his period.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. Arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy.

In the kitchen, the thin sky sits above the counter at eye level. From the doorway you see the blue band over the grey water, and the short strokes hold the light when you wash the dishes.
