Autumn Sunset — Fine Art

Autumn Sunset by Eyvind Earle shows a landscape washed in amber and deep green. The painting uses flat colour blocks set beside curved tree forms, a method he kept through his career. The title points to the warm shift in the sky and the darkening trees below.

The fine art print sits in a wide white frame that gives the image a clean line on the wall. That white edge keeps the amber tones from fading into the room and holds the picture flat.

On a quiet bedroom wall with one window, the picture is seen from across the bed. The eye catches the bright sky first, then reads the dark tree line. From the doorway the image reads as a calm band of dark and light.
