B-Walnut Stain — Fine Art

B-Walnut Stain - 1998 shows a dark brown field crossed by lighter lines that catch the light. Pierre Soulages worked with black and brown surfaces to pull out the colour inside them.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The surface feels uneven in places, which changes the tone across the sheet. A metal hanger sits fixed on the back, so the print goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed.

The brown tones stay steady on the matte surface, and the light lines keep their shape without shine. It suits a study wall above a desk. From the doorway the dark field looks solid, and the thin lines show when you stop near the wall.
