Black and Purple Petunias by Georgia OKeeffe — Fine Art

Black and Purple Petunias focuses on the flower forms that appear again and again in the work of Georgia OKeeffe. Petals curl inward against a darker background, and the petals carry deep purple and black marks. The surface reads as a careful study of a single bloom rather than a wide scene.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The sheet arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame needs buying. The matte surface keeps the dark petal tones from shining under indoor light.

It suits a bedroom wall where you notice the curved petal lines from the doorway. The dark blooms sit below a plain ceiling line, and the small pencil marks become visible when you stand near the bed.
