Black Hills with Cedar by Georgia OKeeffe — Fine Art

Black Hills with Cedar opens on rolling land where dark earth meets a tree line. The eye rests on the middle band and the empty space above pushes the hills back. Wide strokes carry the weight of the ground across the sheet.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel and arrives assembled when ready to hang is chosen. The frame gives the picture a clean edge and the back panel holds it flat on the hook. You see the cedar marks more clearly when the light is soft.

It fits on a kitchen wall near the sink where morning light falls across the glass. From the table you notice the dark tree line first, then the bare strip of sky above it. The frame keeps the picture steady on the hook.
