Blu — Fine Art

Blu - 2000 sets a single blue field against a pale ground. The colour sits as one flat expanse, with the lighter side reading almost white.

Carla Accardi built her practice around translucent paint and soft edges, so the surface stays open rather than hard. A fine art print keeps that blue flat and even, with no shine under a ceiling light.

The paper is matte, which lets the pale area stay quiet next to the blue. On a kitchen wall set above the counter, the blue band reads first, and the pale strip stays low next to the tiles.
