Blue Gentians by John Singer Sargent — Fine Art

Blue Gentians by John Singer Sargent puts a small cluster of deep blue flowers against a soft background. The petals sit close together with a little yellow at the centers. Light falls on the leaves and leaves the edges soft.

The fine art finish comes with a white, wood, dark wood or black frame. Each finish gives the image a clean edge on the wall. With this picture, a wood frame keeps the blue tones from spreading past the paper edge.

On a bedroom wall near a low lamp, you notice the flower heads first and the quiet leaves second. The frame lines up with the top of the bed. The blue stays calm in that corner.
