Blues Dovetailed in Yellow — Fine Art

Blues Dovetailed in Yellow - 1970 holds a large yellow field with blue shapes laid across it. The blue forms interlock like joints, and the eye settles on the meeting point where the colours meet. White space stays open on the right side. The work is a colour field painting by Patrick Heron.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white frame keeps the yellow field open and lets the blue joints read without a hard edge.

On a bedroom wall near a low bed, you see the yellow spread first, then the blue joins step forward as you move past the pillow. The picture stays calm in the dim light.
