Bluest — Fine Art

The title Bluest points to a blue field, made with broad sweeps of paint that move across the surface.

Sam Gilliam lays down colour in wide bands and soft washes, so the surface reads as one slow turn of blue. The fine art print keeps those painted marks plain, the white frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall.
