Buoy Landscape II

Buoy Landscape II shows a field of colour with soft edges and broad brush gestures. The surface looks washed and layered, with darker tones drifting near the lower half. A piece of Sam Gilliam work, the marks move slowly across the picture.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The sheet arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. On this image the matte paper keeps the blended tones soft and stops bright shine under a lamp.

It sits on a bedroom wall near a slatted headboard. From the side of the bed you notice the slow colour shifts, and the quiet wash of tone stays calm in the morning light.
