Canto IX

Canto IX by Barnett Newman uses wide colour fields divided by a thin vertical strip. The painting stays quiet and still. The field holds the eye while the break runs from top to bottom. A single mark changes the balance of the whole sheet.

This fine art piece arrives ready to hang. A metal hanger on the back fits onto a nail or screw, so the print goes up on the wall without a separate frame. The matte surface keeps the edges of the field soft and flat.

It fits a plain wall in a study. From the desk you see the broad field and the break running through the middle. The view stays calm while you read or write.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
