Canto XV

Canto XV by Barnett Newman shows a wide field with a tall vertical stripe. The stripe cuts across the picture from top to bottom. The field uses a single tone and the stripe sits in the middle.

The layout comes from the colour field tradition that emerged after the war. The metal hanger on the back lets you fit the print over a nail or a screw. No frame is needed.

The hanger holds the print flat against the wall. The print is made for fine art display with a simple hanging method. You can put it on a study wall where the tall stripe stays in view from the desk. The single tone reads clearly from across the desk.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
