Castle Banner 5 — Fine Art

Castle Banner 5 by Sam Gilliam uses broad sweeps and soft edges across the sheet. The colours look like folded cloth laid out on the wall.

A reader sees the title and the paint handling at once. Sam Gilliam often worked with draped canvas and stained washes. This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel.

The matte face keeps the colour shifts steady under room light. It fits a hallway wall where the broad strokes read from the stairs. You notice the uneven colour edges as you pass the landing.
