Cheat River — Fine Art

Cheat River - 1968 by Ronnie Landfield shows a coloured field spread across the sheet. Broad painted bands run side to side, with marks that gather and thin as they move. From the far end of a hall the bands read as wide colour stripes. Standing closer you see the hand drawn lines and small shifts in the paint.
