Clumps of Grass — Fine Art

Clumps of Grass shows a group of green stems and leaves growing close to the ground. The paint is laid in broad strokes, so each blade has its own direction and the ground reads as a mix of brown and yellow.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. A light frame on a dark wall makes the greens stand out without pulling the eye away from the paint. Hang it on a south facing wall where the sun moves across the surface during the day.

In a kitchen with cream tiles on the back wall, the grasses sit above the sink at a height you see while washing dishes. From that spot you notice the yellow patches in the ground and the way the stems lean toward the left edge.
