Composition 12 — Fine Art

Composition 12 uses curved planes of colour that move across the sheet. The eye enters near a bright patch and follows the arcs to a darker band. Empty space sits between the forms. Sonia Delaunay built this kind of layout in her work.

The fine art print keeps the colour patches without shine under a lamp. You can choose a light frame on a dark wall or a dark frame on a pale wall. A wood frame beside wooden furniture also works.

In a dining room, the curved colour planes show from the table. At the far end of the room the bright patch catches the light. Up near the doorway the darker band stays clear.
