Composition 1972 by Chu teh Chun — Fine Art

Composition 1972 uses broad colour fields that sit side by side without hard lines. The eye moves from a warm patch into a cooler one, and the empty space around the shapes keeps the layout open. Chu teh Chun built this picture in his abstract practice with a brush and thin washes.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. A light frame on a dark wall lets the colour blocks read clearly, or a wood frame can sit beside wooden furniture. The paper has a matte surface, so the tones stay soft and the marks do not shine under a lamp.

It hangs on the kitchen wall, high enough that you see the colour fields first and the brush texture later. The warm tones work with the room, and the empty space leaves the wall calm.
