Composition 29 — Fine Art

Composition 29 by Sonia Delaunay shows a field of bright colour patches arranged across the sheet. The patches seem to move against each other, with warm tones placed next to cool ones. The picture reads as a study of colour rhythm rather than a scene.

The fine art frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. The frame edge sits cleanly around the colour patches and gives the sheet a clear outline on the wall.

In a hallway with pale plaster, the bright patches catch the morning light from the front door. From the landing you see the colour blocks first, then the small gaps between them.
