Composition

Composition - Surrealism, Tachisme by Henri Michaux shows sweeping ink strokes and soft spots of colour on the paper. The marks move in loose curves, with some areas denser than others. This fine art print keeps the uneven rhythm of those hand drawn gestures.

The frame comes in a white or wood finish. The clean frame line holds the picture together and stops the eye from sliding off the page. With this image the white frame keeps the soft ink tones separate from the wall.

On a bedroom wall near the bed, the dark marks look calm in the evening. From the desk across the room you notice the biggest sweep first, then the small spots when you stand closer.
