About this work
Composition VI 1913 by Wassily Kandinsky shows painted bands and small blocks laid on a light field. The marks do not form a clear picture, and the eye moves from one colour band to the next. Wassily Kandinsky made this as part of his early abstract painting practice.
The picture arrives as a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. You get a ready to hang fine art print when the ready to hang option is used. The frame holds the print flat against the wall.
It fits above a desk in a study, where the colour bands catch the desk lamp at night. From the doorway you see the big shapes, and the small pencil marks stay clear under the light.
