Continental Divide — Fine Art

Continental Divide shows broad bands of pigment running across the sheet. The marks look poured and guided rather than painted with a brush.

Paul Jenkins worked in this way for much of his career, letting colour settle into its own changes and edges. The print is a fine art print set in a frame, with a back panel.

It arrives assembled when you use the ready to hang option. The frame holds the image steady, and the back panel keeps it flat on the wall. The bands read well from the hall at the far end of the house, where the open colour spreads across the whole view.
