Coronation of Sesostris

A pale ground carries loose handwriting lines and a few darker marks across the sheet. The Coronation of Sesostris by Cy Twombly leaves the surface open, with grey and black lines sitting against the lighter paper. The tone stays quiet and even.

The fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need a separate frame. The metal hanger holds the sheet flat against the wall.

Hang it above a low bench in a study, with a lamp off to one side. From the doorway you see the broad pale field, and up close the pencil lines sit a little rough on the surface.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
