Corot s Mark

Corot s Mark - 1987 uses a calm range of tones on the sheet. Blue and green wash together while a thin mark sits on top. The painted colour field keeps the ground open and the edges stay unforced.

You see the mix of poured colour and brushwork in the Helen Frankenthaler style. A fine art print set in a frame with a back panel keeps the tone flat and even. The matte surface stops glare on the lighter areas.
