Cottage in the Woods 1903 — Fine Art

Cottage in the Woods 1903 shows a small house set among trees with green and brown tones across the sheet. The colours sit close to one another and the light stays steady. Alexej von Jawlensky worked with simple forms and clear tones in his landscape painting.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need to buy a separate frame. The surface is flat and the image stays even when the room light hits it.

On the kitchen wall near the stove the house and trees sit low above the counter. From the dining table you see the brown tones first, then the green shapes as you move to the sink. The scene stays calm in that spot.
