Curtains 1962 — Fine Art

Curtains 1962 shows folded fabric in bands of a bright yellow and red against a plain off white ground. The black outlines and flat colour blocks sit apart, so the folds look like folded cloth rather than soft fabric.

The print is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the yellow and red tones even when daylight hits the surface from the side.

It hangs on a hallway wall near the stairwell, where the yellow bands catch the light from the landing window at shoulder height.
