Coulours Idees by Sonia Delaunay sets bold colour patches against one another. The shapes shift and overlap, with warm reds and cool blues sitting next to each other.

The forms read as simple blocks at a distance, while the edges show the hand of the artist close up. Sonia Delaunay worked with colour and rhythm throughout her career. This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel and arrives ready to hang when that option is used.

The flat surface keeps the colour edges sharp without glare. A dining room wall works well here. From the table you see the bright patches across the room, and near the plate the small shifts between the tones become clear.
