Death of Giuliano DeMedici — Fine Art

Death of Giuliano DeMedici shows loose script and quick marks over a pale ground. The writing sits between drawing and painting, as Cy Twombly often worked. Letters and lines overlap without staying neat. A reader can follow the shapes from a distance, then notice the small hand marks close up.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The print uses a matte surface, so the handwritten marks stay soft and do not glare under a lamp.

It works above a long sofa, set high so the writing reads across the wall. From the sofa you see the broad script first, and from the coffee table you see the pencil lines. The pale ground keeps the marks quiet in daylight.
