About this work

Desert

Richard Pousette-Dart painted Desert in a desert landscape with distant hills and a wide open sky. The marks spread across the surface in soft layers of sand and ochre. Small darker strokes suggest dry ground and the sun pushed low.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. The print has no separate frame to buy.

It fits a bare wall in a study. From the desk you see the open sky stretch wide. Close by the desk the layered colour shows its shape.
