Desert Rain by Agnes Martin

Desert Rain by Agnes Martin keeps the sheet open with horizontal pencil lines. The lines run across the paper in a steady rhythm. The title points to a dry place, but the marks stay even and quiet. The eye moves from one line to the next without a hard stop.

The paper is matte, so the pale tone stays soft and the pencil lines do not catch a lamp. A fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. If you use the ready to hang option it arrives assembled.

It fits on a long wall above a bench. From the doorway you see the line pattern, and from close you see the faint pencil marks.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
