Dexter`s Garden — Fine Art

Dexter Garden shows a garden made of short painted strokes and bright leaves. The picture comes from the work of Childe Hassam, who used broken colour to build outdoor scenes. The ground and the plants read as quick patches of green and brown rather than flat colour.

You get a fine art print that hangs on the wall with a metal hanger already fitted to the back. The hanger goes straight onto a nail or screw, so the image goes up without a separate frame.

It works on a hallway wall near the front door, where you see the loose painted patches first and the small strokes later at the coat hook. The garden shape stays clear from that distance.
