Die Fremden Kreise

Die Fremden Kreise - 1963 leaves open circles and soft rings on the sheet. The shapes stay separate and do not touch, so the eye moves between them. A quiet geometry of round forms sits across the picture.

This is a fine art print set in a frame, with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the rings from shining under a lamp, and the frame gives the sheet a firm edge.

Hang it on a bedroom wall above the bed. From the bed you see the round shapes first, and up close the paper grain shows through the ink.
