Drawing for Sculpture SF65-010

Drawing for Sculpture SF65-010 keeps the bold colour washes and open white space that Sam Francis used in his paintings.

Broad colour fields sit with soft edge marks, the kind of colour field painting practice that runs through his post war abstract painting. A fine art print on matte paper holds the soft greys without shine under a lamp.

A light frame on a dark wall lets the pale colour fields stand out, or a dark frame on a pale wall grounds the bright washes. It fits a kitchen hallway near the fridge, where the soft edges read well from the table.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
