Dream Lance — Fine Art

Dream Lance - 2001 shows a single line running across a pale ground with dense dots and cross hatching around it. The line bends and breaks as it moves. Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri built this kind of image with careful repeated marks that fill the space around the central path. The work keeps that steady hand visible.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame comes in white wood dark wood or black and gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. A white frame keeps the ground open while a dark wood frame sets the line apart.

It works on a study wall where the light hits the surface from the side. From the desk you see the line draw your eye past the dots. The room stays quiet and the picture holds the room together.
