About this work
Dva-Dva - 1986 shows a field of small geometric forms that step in tone from one side to the other. The shapes repeat across the sheet and the darker forms sit beside the lighter ones.
Victor Vasarely worked with optical colour and clean geometry across his career, and this print follows that visual language. The fine art print sits on a matte surface, so the pale forms stay soft under indoor light.
A light frame on a dark wall lets the tone shifts stand out without extra shine. It works above a dining table where the repeated forms read from the doorway and the small details stay visible when you pass by.
