Emblemata Candle Flame

The title Emblemata Candle Flame points to a drawn candle with its flame as the main subject. A small flame sits on the canvas, carried by MC Escher in a study of light and form.

The drawing uses clear lines to build the shape around the wick and the halo of the burn. A fine art print set in a frame with a back panel sits on the wall.

The frame holds the image steady and the back panel keeps it flat against the wall. In a small reading corner the flame reads as a steady point of glow next to a stack of books. You notice the clean outline of the flame before the rest of the room.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
