En fuite — Fine Art

En fuite - Fauvism, Tachisme shows quick marks that do not sit in a neat grid. The palette leans toward warm reds and blues, set against a pale ground. You can see how the paint moves across the sheet rather than filling every space.

This fine art print keeps those uneven edges soft, so the paint reads as hand applied. A light frame on a dark wall lets the pale ground stay open, and a dark frame on a pale wall gives the marks more room to sit.

It hangs on the stairwell wall where the steps turn. From the landing you read the broad strokes first, then the small shifts in tone. The angled light in the evening makes the warm colour hold its shape against the pale paper.
