Escher (22)

The title Escher (22) points to a line drawing from MC Escher. It shows forms built from steady black lines on a pale ground. The shapes read as measured, and the method stays close to the graphic printmaking of the mid twentieth century. The piece lands on the wall as a fine art print.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte surface holds the black lines without shine, so the drawn forms keep their flat tone under room light.

It works on the wall in a bedroom above the bed. From the bedside you see the repeating forms, and up close you notice the thin ink lines.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
