Espejo Sonámbulo — Fine Art

Espejo Sonámbulo - 1989 shows a painted surface with bands of colour laid over a mid tone. The marks run side to side and the shapes feel soft at the edges.

Manuel Rivera works with flat colour and simple lines in this spanish late modern style. A fine art print set in a frame with a back panel holds the image steady on the wall.

The matte face keeps the tone shifts soft and the colours stay even under room light. It looks settled on a hallway wall beside a narrow shelf. From the bend in the corridor you see the broad bands, and the small painted edges show when you pass.
